30 Themes - 2. Rain

Definitely not my best work...Eponine turned out fine but, Marius....not so well. But cut me some slack! This is the first guy I've successfully drawn. Well...human anyways.....god I hate that background...But it took so long and this was the best I could get.

So for this theme, I chose to draw Eponine's death scene. It's more from the book than the movie. That's why Marius isn't too concerned. But I sort of went half movie and half book. I can't remember if it was raining in the book, but it was in the movie/musical...hence their duet, 'A Little Fall of Rain' .Eponine is my favourite character in Les Mis, followed by Javert. And of course, both of them die...I need to stop choosing favourite characters. They always end up dying.
